I read and finished this book in one evening.I loved the photographs.. and the open-air-soaring feelingI got when looking at the photos of the scenery fromthe mountain. Or, trying to imagine how different thescenery might have looked 75,000 years ago.I have a theory about the reason for this flat-topped rock,which you'll read about in this book. I wonder if thereason for the flattening out is so that one wouldhave gotten a smack-dab level viewing of Orion'sBelt front and center? A perfect alignment.I suspect this calendar is named after Adam, becausethe name itself refers to the first astronomical view-finderof the night sky. (although I suspect there may beother calendars waiting to be discovered).I also enjoyed this book because..here was a normalguy, Johan Heine, who because of his 'obsession' with a bunchof stones, was able to bring forth this discovery, for the restof us to discover via this book.
So glad I bought this book. You have to keep an open mind, and understand that some of this history is biblical in documentation.But it answers a few questions I have had, that humans were not the first inhabitants of post-dinosaur earth. In fact, someone else not only lived on earth before "us" but with "us" for quite a few years. Who were they?

This book changes everything we thought we knew about the history of the planet. The authors are the Sherlock Holmes of archaeology.
